Ways To Clean & Care For Your Swimwear

The Neoprene, Polyester, and Nylon blends that your bathing suits are made up of are surprisingly delicate.

No matter what the specific swim gear you choose is composed of, you’ll want to rinse it thoroughly in cool fresh water. Before you wear it for the first time, and after each use.

  • Hand wash delicately with a mild Castile sud: We recommend the Dr. Bronner’s Brand.

  • Rinse before first time use as fabrics may “run.”

  • Never wring to remove excess water, as this will the loosen fabric, causing it to later sag.

  • Lay your swimwear flat to dry. Reshape garments while wet & avoid rough surfaces.

  • Chlorine, lotions, sunscreens and strong sunlight can discolor your bathing suits.

  • Dry in shade, never in direct sunlight.
