Stela Onda is a self-funded swimwear brand started by Tempy Keller; a Utila Island resident.

The ambition behind Stela Onda was born from a desire to encourage and promote equal access to outdoor nature experiences for all children, regardless of their socioeconomic background.

We believe that the most long term, sustainable way of achieving this goal, is to financially support organizations leading these important causes, by offering programs that both guide and coach our future sea and land stewards, for a future in a cleaner, safer world.

  • We imagine a world in which the vast majority of humans are both willing and able to cohabit with nature, with absolutely no desire to change it, destroy it, or manipulate it.

  • We believe that those with the ability to influence, mentor and healthily challenge the mindset of other humans beings, to live their lives in such a way that is sustainable, compassionate and thoughtful, should be revered.

  • We invite you to share your good choices, collaborate with your friends and those who share your values and dreams and, contribute responsibly.

WE EMPOWER ENVIRONMENTALLY MINDED YOUTH

A portion of the proceeds of every sale is donated to support environmental education and outdoor leadership training for Utila youth, via the guidance of the Kanahau Nature School!

REUSE & RECYCLE TO REDUCE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

We source from environmentally responsible suppliers that specialize in regenerated NYLON and repurposed fabrics, reducing environmental impact.

MADE IN LEWISTON, MAINE, U.S.A.

Made from 100% Italian and French made fabrics, our swimwear is first designed on the lovely coastal shores of New England, and diligently hand-crafted in Lewiston, Maine - a unique and diverse river town with a rich textile history.
